How can I make a couple hundred dollars in two weeks before I start next semester at college?

I am at home untill Jan 10th and I need to make some money to pay for books this semester. Any ideas for jobs or places to make money would be helpful. How can I make a couple hundred dollars in two weeks before I start next semester at college?
Check out selling plasma. If you have not done this before I understand that they pay for the plasma and the time it takes for a physical as well. I knew people that decided selling plasma was easier than being a clerk in a store. How can I make a couple hundred dollars in two weeks before I start next semester at college?

Hit the streets.

Do you have a place you can throw a party?

Do you have a stereo you can use?

Do you have a good collection of music or a live band?

Before college I used to throw a huge end of summer party and charge $5 to $10 dollars on entry. With the help of a few friends we used to rake in a couple hundred dollars each for the start of the year. We used to have a live band though and have a section where people could order food and section where people could order drinks. If you have a couple lady friends willing to waitress for you they will do it just for the tips. It comes down to having space and friends willing to help out. Advertising is key though. But if you have a great party the next year you will have people asking when you are going to throw the next end of summer party and pretty much it will advertise its self from there. The one we had the second year was crazy. We made about $600 each that time. It was a total of about $3300. The that waitresses ended up making the most though with there tips.

If you are in a place that is cold this will not work because it has to be outside because of all the people preferably by a dock and some covered structure like a gazebo.
go and find a job rather than wasting your time at home!
When I need extra cash I usually do something for my mom, otherwise you could pick up some kind of construction job and get paid under the table if you know anyone. Also you could babysit, maybe if you do a little bit of everything you could make enough. Good luck!
Please stay away from CashCreate, Treasure Trooper and other survey Web sites.

It is a waste of time and will cause you unhappiness.

If you choose to be suckered in and sign up to take surveys and receive, free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your credit card and personal information you have now opened your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

A lot of work to collect the ';reward payments'; that payout is not worth the effort over time. You will need to sign up for many types of offers, most of which require you to use a credit card. You start a week trial service with varies types of businesses or services, such as, an Internet service provider, book club, credit monitoring service, etc. to get your reward. If you don't cancel the trial, you end up being charged for the service and each service has different rules about how and when you can cancel. Very cumbersome!

Since you will need to sign up for at least a dozen offers before you get to $100 in rewards, it's very easy to forget what you have signed up for, or the problems you will have canceling in time to to be charged the full amount. The Cash Create recruiters you see here over exaggerate how much money you can earn because once you've done the high-dollar trials ($8-10 each), you are left with small rewards of a dollar or two. The survey business is not an efficient way to make money and you are more than likely to loose money in the end.
