What age difference between a couple do you think is too much?

If it's more than 10 years among normal couples, it's considered bad but in Hollywood it doesn't matter. Why do you think that is, and what's your take on age differences between couples?What age difference between a couple do you think is too much?
It depends on how old they are. Like, a 5 year age difference when the couple is 13 and 18 is just ridiculous, but between a 36 and 41 year old it's almost nothing. I think it usually works better when the guy is older because girls supposedly mature faster, but it can definitely work the other way around, too. And I don't think that age differences don't matter in Hollywood--I think we just see the extreme ';wanting to stay young'; ego thing going on in celebrities. My friends parents are 15 years apart and they have a wonderful, steady marriage (She was 22 and he was 37 when they got married and it barely mattered).What age difference between a couple do you think is too much?
DON'T use Hollywood as a measuring stick regarding relationships! My God...couples in the entertainment industry swap, divorce, faster than pornstars swap partners during a sex scene! I say a 20 year gap is stretching it a bit. Alas, my dad at 46 married his current wife of 35 years, when she was only 21!!! (25 year gap) *The marriage is still going strong!!! I married my ex wife when I was 41 and she was 30 (11 year gap). I even dated a girl for 3 years when I was 43 and she was 18 (25 year gap). We broke up when she was 21 and I was 46. Her parents were super cool with that and the age gap. Most of the gals I date are around 10 to 15 years younger than me. It's these CHICKS that want to date an older guy like me, not the other way around. But heck, for a guy (yep, I'm handsome and $$$) my age, why not???!!!
If for instance a girl is 14, and a guy 17 - then I don't believe its too much of an age cap, aslong as they keep it away from physical stuff til shes old enough





though if a girl is 20, and the guy is 40 - they're both adults, and love is love.

i think at least 3 because if your in high school and you are a junior and you guys are 4 years difference he is not going to be there so i think at least 3
I think it matter's less when you get older...try half the age plus 7 as the biggest difference..
Id say 10 or more years is bad..although my love and i are 2 years apart.
