There is a ton of luau stuff out there. That would be rally neat. You could blend some drinks to serve at the bbq. decorate with leas and hawian stuff. You can stick a couple of those torches (inexpensive) in your yard for a nice touch. Enjoy, that sounds like a lot of fun.
Definitely have a photographer there to make the even memorable for all. Doesn't have to be a professional, but someone who isn't in the party. Have little memory books for everyone at the party.
Don't do it. the guys don't want to go so don't make them. Just have the women.
MY SHOWER IS COMING UP AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE HAVING A COUPLES SHOWER W/ COUPLES INVITED AS WELL.. WE ARE DOING A PICNIC, SHOWER, PARTY ALL IN ONE.. AS THIS WILL EVEN TAKE THE PLACE OF A BACHELOR PARTY, AS WE BEEN THERE AND REALLY DONT CARE TO HAVE ONE! THE BRIDESMAID HAVE CHOOSEN A AN ENTIRE OLD FLASHIONED HOE DOWN ON THE FARM SO ADULTS/KIDS WILL ALL ENJOY!! NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!
Showers are always hard to plan, especially coed. I recommend thinking about your guest lists and plan some activities that would be well suited for everyone. I can't picture the guys rushing to play bridal shower bingo. Try to pick some get to know you activities if there will be guests who don't know everyone. Overall the setting should focus on the bride and groom.
