What are your thoughts on leaving a couple of gallons of water in the bathtub for moister vs a humidifier?

Someone recently suggested doing so as an alternative to using a humidifier and draining the excess every morning before leaving the house.

It cost a lot of money to heat that water,


Save energy; wait 'til it cools.


It will be like an additional radiator-

So...this becomes a classic conundrum in the whole ';green'; revolution.





Do you want superior results ? If so : Humidifier.





Is getting SOME added humidity while not using electricity your priority ?
