Do couples who are seriously dating have to talk on the phone everyday?

i know some ppl who HAVE to talk with their bf or gf everyday and when one calls, the other MUST call back. i kinda feel like the phone thing is kinda ';high school';. i mean if someone wants to talk, then call, but otherwise, just relax.?!Do couples who are seriously dating have to talk on the phone everyday?

no not really but if you cant stop thinking about them you need to call but not every minute that would be annoying
i dont think they have to talk for hours everyday but a few minutes to touch base or share how ur day went is definetly a must.. it shows u care and are thinking of them.. remember its the little things that mean the most.. even a text message now and then through out the day or a email..we arent asking for alot just alittle reassurance and security
depends, i don't get to see my boyfriend all that much,and we love to talk each night on the phone. we call each other at 9.00pm(free minutes...lol) to see how each of our day has gone. it's been two years and if you add the times we didn't talk, it might add up to a month.
I feel like you should check it every day, just to make sure the other's okay, but too mcuh is unhealthy and annoying.

i honestly think people who call each other every day get tired of it ya know, they get sick of each other because it gets old...








you should just give each other space if they want to talk cool, if they dont thats cool too
Adults in a mature, serious relationship do not need to speak every single day. Sure, a simple I love you is great. But as long as you can call when you have something to say, and you show your partner you are thinking about them in other ways, there's certainly no reason to play phone tag every day.
you dont have to call every single day, but sometimes it helps when your bf calls just to say i love you, and boost your self esteem a lil bit.


i would be perfectly happy if i had a boyfriend who called me everyday because it means that he cares about me enough to call so much. and i think thats important in a relationship!!
at first you might talk a lot but if you miss one day... big deal. if they can't get over they are moody and wellll... crazy.
yea, just b cool, and talk when u need to. that was what kinda hurt my last relationship, if one keeps calling all the time, it gets annoying.
